FAQ'sTuesday April 17, 2012
Portraits are a minimum of $300, and max out at $600 if they're done in one sitting. And depending on the size, body part it's on, and difficulty of the picture, They can usually take anywhere from around 4 to 6 hours. This is Portrait work only. This does not including lettering background design (unless discussed) etc.
Q: How long is your waiting list?
A: This can be dramatically different depending on many different factors like my tour schedule and cancellations, and will continue to change. Feel free to ask in your email, that way I can give you a current updated wait time, but it has been on average 1 month for weekdays and 1 year for weekends. Please let me know what days and times you are available so I can compare it against my availability.
Q: Is there a style you prefer, or one that you don't do?
A: I try to be fair to everyone, and accommodate just about every request I get. But I prefer to do realistic work, in Black and Gray ex: faces, people, pin-ups, animals, etc.. But I also enjoy doing original designs without any reference and using my creativity and drawing style. I DO NOT WORK IN COLOR.
I generally try not to do American Traditional, Asian Traditional, Celtic, and Tribal. I don't feel like these styles match mine very well, and you would probably get a much better tattoo by someone who specializes in that specific style. If you absolutely wanted me to do something in one of these styles I would not definitely say no, it's worth asking.
Q: Should I do anything to prepare for my tattoo?
A: It's always good to try and be as healthy as you can before your appointment, the best thing you can do is get a good nights rest and eat before the appointment. You never want to be on an empty stomach while getting tattooed. It's a good idea to bring some snacks with you, and something with some sugar in it, whether that be in a drink or food, or candy. This will help with your blood sugar, and help you not get lightheaded.
Q: Can I take pain medication before during or after my tattoo appointment?
A: Yes, you can take ibuprofen, or extra strength Aleve, ( really anything non-aspirin) before and during the tattoo, this will only help take the edge off a little bit, but can be effective. | ||
